The purpose of vaccine is to train the immune system, NOT to cure. Antigen (certain molecules from the pathogen) injected into the body to trigger immune response, to be able to recognize and attack pathogen (virus or bacteria). Herd Immunity is also crucial, because once enough people are immunized the chance for the disease to spread becomes very low, since there aren’t enough hosts to be infected.

EXPLANATION
Based on the “7 Types of Mis- and Disinformation”, categorized as “MISLEADING CONTENT: Misleading use of information to frame an issue or individual” because the SOURCE shared misleading narratives/claims which has caused FALSE conclusion. [1]

CLAIM: “*Does not provide immunity”
EXPLANATION: FALSE, vaccine factually DO provide immunity. According to PublicHealth: “A vaccine works by training the immune system to recognize and combat pathogens, either viruses or bacteria. To do this, certain molecules from the pathogen must be introduced into the body to trigger an immune response.
These molecules are called antigens, and they are present on all viruses and bacteria. By injecting these antigens into the body, the immune system can safely learn to recognize them as hostile invaders, produce antibodies, and remember them for the future. If the bacteria or virus reappears, the immune system will recognize the antigens immediately and attack aggressively well before the pathogen can spread and cause sickness.” [2].
And, as informed by CDC: “COVID-19 vaccines help our bodies develop immunity to the virus that causes COVID-19 without us having to get the illness. Different types of vaccines work in different ways to offer protection, but with all types of vaccines, the body is left with a supply of “memory” T-lymphocytes as well as B-lymphocytes that will remember how to fight that virus in the future.
It typically takes a few weeks for the body to produce T-lymphocytes and B-lymphocytes after vaccination. Therefore, it is possible that a person could be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 just before or just after vaccination and then get sick because the vaccine did not have enough time to provide protection.
Sometimes after vaccination, the process of building immunity can cause symptoms, such as fever. These symptoms are normal and are a sign that the body is building immunity.” [3]

CLAIM: about still unable to go to restaurants and other public places, not resistant to Covid, unable to stop transmission, how long will the vaccine last, not stopping the social distancing, hugging others, statistic of the survival rate, unable to 100% protect other people in contact with, doesn’t eliminate the virus, doesn’t guarantee you won’t get it, doesn’t stop from passing it on to others, doesn’t eliminate the travel bans, doesn’t stop the business closures, doesn’t stop the lockdowns, doesn’t stop the need for mask.
EXPLANATION: the answer to above statements are related to the Herd Immunity, as soon as Herd Immunity fulfilled it will be safer to loosen the restrictions.
According to PublicHealth: “Vaccines don’t just work on an individual level, they protect entire populations. Once enough people are immunized, opportunities for an outbreak of disease become so low even people who aren’t immunized benefit. Essentially, a bacteria or virus simply won’t have enough eligible hosts to establish a foothold and will eventually die out entirely. This phenomenon is called “herd immunity” or “community immunity,” and it has allowed once-devastating diseases to be eliminated entirely, without needing to vaccinate every individual.” [2]
Another one, from CDC: “Will a COVID-19 vaccination protect me from getting sick with COVID-19?
Yes. COVID-19 vaccination works by teaching your immune system how to recognize and fight the virus that causes COVID-19, and this protects you from getting sick with COVID-19.
Being protected from getting sick is important because even though many people with COVID-19 have only a mild illness, others may get a severe illness, have long-term health effects, or even die. There is no way to know how COVID-19 will affect you, even if you don’t have an increased risk of developing severe complications. Learn more about how COVID-19 vaccines work.” [4]

CLAIM: “●”If I get vaccinated can I stop wearing a mask(s)?” Goverment: “NO”, and about the travel bans still applied, the business stil need to be closed, lockdowns still carries on, does not eliminate the need to wear mask.
EXPLANATION: from Hopkins Medicine, “Will I still have to wear a mask and continue COVID-19 safety precautions if I get the vaccine?
Yes, everyone still needs to maintain these safety precautions for the foreseeable future. If you are among the estimated 5% to 10% of people for whom the vaccine is not effective, you could still catch and spread the coronavirus. Studies are looking at whether the vaccine, even when effective at preventing disease, keeps a person from harboring the virus and passing it to others.” [5]
Another one, from the United Nations: “The COVID-19 pandemic “will not end for anyone, until it ends for everyone”, an independent UN human rights expert said on Friday, advocating for an equitable and globally-coordinated vaccine distribution programme.
“The virus can still travel from the vastly unvaccinated massive population of the Global South to the Global North, including in its increasingly mutating forms”, Obiora Okafor, UN Special Rapporteur on human rights and international solidarity, said in a statement.” [6]

CLAIM: “5. If we vaccine all children, will school return back to normal? – No” (from the WhatsApp broadcast Bahasa Indonesia version).
EXPLANATION: as described by PublicHealth, “The Herd Immunity Imperative
Vaccines don’t just work on an individual level, they protect entire populations. Once enough people are immunized, opportunities for an outbreak of disease become so low even people who aren’t immunized benefit. Essentially, a bacteria or virus simply won’t have enough eligible hosts to establish a foothold and will eventually die out entirely. This phenomenon is called “herd immunity” or “community immunity,” and it has allowed once-devastating diseases to be eliminated entirely, without needing to vaccinate every individual.
This is critical because there will always be a percentage of the population that cannot be vaccinated, including infants, young children, the elderly, people with severe allergies, pregnant women, or people with compromised immune systems. Thanks to herd immunity, these people are kept safe because diseases are never given a chance to spread through a population.” [2]

CLAIM: “●”Are you sure the vaccine won’t injure or kill me?” Government: “NO””, and about the adverse reaction.
EXPLANATION: from the CDC, “Millions of people in the United States have received COVID-19 vaccines, and these vaccines will undergo the most intensive safety monitoring in U.S. history. This monitoring includes using both established and new safety monitoring systems to make sure that COVID-19 vaccines are safe.
Results are reassuring
Results from monitoring efforts are reassuring. Some people have no side effects. Many people have reported mild side effects after COVID-19 vaccination, like
* pain or swelling at the injection site,
* a headache, chills,
* or fever.
These reactions are common. A small number of people have had a severe allergic reaction (called “anaphylaxis”) after vaccination, but this is extremely rare. If this occurs, vaccination providers have medicines available to effectively and immediately treat the reaction.
After you get a COVID-19 vaccine, you will be asked to stay for 15–30 minutes so you can be observed in case you have a severe allergic reaction and provided treatment in the rare case it is needed.” [7]
(Not only in U.S. by the CDC, the standard is also applied globally by other health organizations).
Regarding adverse reaction, also from CDC: “What you need to know
* COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective.
* Millions of people in the United States have received COVID-19 vaccines, and these vaccines will undergo the most intensive safety monitoring in U.S. history.
* CDC recommends you get a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as you are eligible.
* Adverse events described on this page have been reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)external icon.
* VAERS accepts reports of any adverse event following vaccination, even if it is not clear the vaccine caused the problem.
* CDC, FDA, and other federal partners will continue to monitor the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines. [8]

CLAIM: “So … what exactly does it do? Super interesting isn’t it? So why one must be vaccinated? (To make the pharmacy companies richer)” (from the WhatsApp broadcast Bahasa Indonesia version).
EXPLANATION: an article from KGW8, “4. False narratives about pharmaceutical companies and public figures profiting from the vaccine
Many false claims associate the COVID-19 vaccines with “big pharma” corruption. On the contrary, leading vaccines are largely funded by governments and nonprofit organizations, which have pledged billions of dollars for doses at set prices.
For the near future, companies will be focused on fulfilling those orders quickly, rather than making large profits. It is unclear what the vaccine landscape will look like after this.”
Also, related to the “Big Pharma conspiracy theory”, an article from Wikipedia: “The Big Pharma conspiracy theory is a group of conspiracy theories that claim that the medical community in general and pharmaceutical companies in particular, especially large corporations, operate for sinister purposes and against the public good, and that they allegedly conceal effective treatments, or even cause and worsen a wide range of diseases.[1][2] Specific variations of the conspiracy theory have included the claim that natural alternative remedies to health problems are being suppressed, the claim that drugs for the treatment of HIV/AIDS are ineffective and harmful, and the claim that a cure for all cancers has been discovered but hidden from the public. In each case the conspiracy theorists have blamed pharmaceutical companies’ search for profits. A range of authors have shown these claims to be false, though some of these authors nevertheless maintain that other criticisms of the pharmaceutical industry are legitimate.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]”.

CLAIM: “”From a Singaporean senior citizen, Andrew Lee, I read this and had to share”
EXPLANATION: There’s NO clarity about who the claimed as “Singaporean senior citizen, Andrew Lee” is, or information about how to check the validity whether the claimed source is ACTUALLY made the claim. This techniques is known as “Appeal to Authority”.
As described by Logically Fallacious: “Insisting that a claim is true simply because a valid authority or expert on the issue said it was true, without any other supporting evidence offered.” [13]
Also, from Logically Fallacious: “Appeal to False Authority
(also known as: appeal to doubtful authority, appeal to dubious authority, appeal to improper authority, appeal to inappropriate authority, appeal to irrelevant authority, appeal to misplaced authority, appeal to unqualified authority, argument from false authority)
Description: Using an alleged authority as evidence in your argument when the authority is not really an authority on the facts relevant to the argument. As the audience, allowing an irrelevant authority to add credibility to the claim being made.” [14]

NOTES
Copy of narrative/claim by the SOURCE: “From a Singaporean senior citizen, Andrew Lee, I read this and had to share
Let’s awaken some people’s minds …
What happen s if you decide to get “vaccinated” (beside the fact that you could end up very sick or even dead)???
Here are 12 important questions and answers before considering getting vaccinated:
●”If I get vaccinated can I stop wearing a mask(s)?”
Goverment: “NO”
●”If I get vaccinated will the restaurants, bars, schools, fitness clubs, hair salons, etc. reopen and will people be able to get back to work like normal?
Government: “NO”
●”If I get vaccinated will I be resistant to Covid?”
Government: “Maybe. We don’t know exactly, but probably not.”
●”If I get vaccinated, at least I won’t be contagious to others – right?”
Government: “NO. the vaccine doesn’t stop transmission.”
●”If I get vaccinated, how long will the vaccine last?”
Government: “No one knows. All Covid “vaccines” are still in the experimental stage.”
● “If I get vaccinated, can I stop social distancing?”
Government: “NO”
● “If my parents, grandparents and myself all get vaccinated can we hug each other again?”
Government: “NO”
● “So what’s the benefit of getting vaccinated?”
Government: “Hoping that the virus won’t kill you.”
●”Are you sure the vaccine won’t injure or kill me?”
Government: “NO”
●”If statistically the virus won’t kill me (99.7% survival rate), why should I get vaccinated?”
Government: “To protect others.”
●”So if I get vaccinated, I can protect 100% of people I come in contact with?”
Government: “NO”
● “If I experience a severe adverse reaction, long term effects (still unknown) or die from the vaccine will I (or my family) be compensated from the vaccine manufacture or the Government?”
Government: “NO – the government and vaccine manufactures have 100% zero liability regarding this experimental drug”
So to summarize, the Covid19 “vaccine”……
*Does not provide immunity
*Does not eliminate the virus
*Does not prevent death
*Does not guarantee you won’t get it
*Does not stop you from passing it on to others
*Does not eliminate the need for travel bans
*Does not eliminate the need for business closures
*Does not eliminate the need for lockdowns
*Does not eliminate the need for masking
*Does not guarantee anything
After reading this, you can make your own final decision to whether go for it or not.
Each of us have to take own responsibility for making a decision.
Don’t need chatty outside people tell us what to do God Bless us.”
