EXPLANATION:
Through social media Facebook, the @IvanJayLamban account shares information
about Canada which is free from the corona virus or Covid-19. Until now, the
@IvanJayLamban upload has received 17 comments and 900 shares by other Facebook
users.

However,
after further investigation, it was discovered that the information shared was
not in accordance with the facts. Referring to the official website of the WHO
World Health Organization, who.int, the latest data shows that on August 10,
2020 Canada recorded 236 new positive cases of Covid-19. With the increase in
new cases, Canada was confirmed positive for Covid-19, as many as 119,221 and
8,976 died.

Launching
from factcheck.afp.com, the Chief Officer of the Canadian Society, Theresa Tam
explained that Canada has recorded an average of 400 positive cases of Covid-19
every day. Theresa also said that her country is still studying how to live
with the virus in society.

“We
are still studying life with viruses that exist in society. Canadians continue
to adapt to existing health protocols, ”said Theresa.
